In May 2024, Studio Khonsu travelled back to Bhutan working in partnership with the Tourist Board of Bhutan to create a short film promoting their incredible country to a younger audience of intrepid travellers.

During our trip to Bhutan, we had the privilege of capturing both stunning photographs and immersive video footage, showcasing the full range of this diverse and breathtaking country. From the towering peaks of the Himalayas to the tranquil monasteries nestled in lush valleys, we journeyed far and wide, exploring every facet of Bhutan’s extraordinary landscapes. Our aim was to tell the ancient stories woven into the fabric of Bhutanese life—its sacred temples, rich cultural traditions, and deep spiritual heritage—while also highlighting the country’s untouched natural beauty.
